YES! Vancouver is a philanthropic networking group of professional women looking to make powerful connections with like-minded peers. Founded in 2007 by former Dress for Success® Vancouver Board Members Katrina Carroll-Foster and Louise Kozier, our mission is two-fold: to fundraise for Dress for Success® Vancouver and to create meaningful and innovative events throughout the year for motivated and driven career women in Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Our parent organization, Young Executives for Success (YES!), was launched in New York in 2005 to champion the mission of Dress For Success®. YES! now has chapters all over the world, from Canada to the U.S. and Australia. In each city, YES! groups host networking and social events, provide volunteer support and raise funds for their local affiliates.
Thanks to our wonderful supporters, we’re proud to have raised over $100,000 for Dress for Success® Vancouver since 2007.
Founded in 1997, Dress for Success® is an international not-for-profit organization that gives women the tools to achieve economic independence. Since 1997, Dress for Success® has served more than 850,000 women globally and has over 140 affiliates across 10 countries worldwide! Our local affiliate, Dress for Success® Vancouver, is a community empowering women back into the workforce by providing them with professional attire, career services and skills development programs.
Dress for Success® Vancouver is a registered charity and is non-government funded, operating solely on funds from corporate sponsorship, fundraising events, and donations. Since their inception in 1999, they have provided over 20,000 suitings, with over 70% of funding going directly to their programs.
