YES! Vancouver’s Membership Perks Program allows members to receive exclusive discounts at local stores, companies and events as a part of their membership. It allows participating companies known as “Perks Partners” to promote their brand to a targeted group of awesome woman. The Perks Program is a major value add for our members and a great way for YES! to partner with great local organizations. The Membership Perks Program Lead manages the existing Perk Partner relationships and the sourcing of new partners.
For current partners the Lead will check in a few times annually to ensure they are satisfied with the program and that the offer(s) for our members is valid and up to date. When our app is launched in 2018 our Lead will be able to provide metrics of member usage of perks to our partners in quarterly or annual reports.
The Lead will also be constantly on the lookout for new strategic partners that appeal to our membership. Current categories include: health and wellness, retail, education and special events. It is ideal to keep a diverse portfolio and avoid direct competing companies. The Lead will manage the recruitment and onboarding of new partners. The Lead will is also responsible for sharing new partners with the co-chairs, committee and social team to allow for promotion/awareness.
The ideal candidate for this role has:
- Excellent selling and communication skills
- Strong relationship management skills and enjoys working with people
- Is organized, creative and detail oriented
